Хураангуй:
The foreign trade index will be used to research and analyze the current situation of Mongolia-China trade, determine the specific situation of the trade structure of the two countries, and put forward conclusions and recommendations. Analyze the scope and structure of trade between Mongolia and China. Mongolia and China will use relevant data and economic theory to determine products with high international competitiveness and high trade-offs between the two countries, and investigate the reasons. Based on the above analysis, further proposals for improving bilateral trade cooperation between Mongolia and China are proposed. The competitiveness of Mongolia and China's exports will be analyzed using the Trade combination degree (TCD), Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Trade Complementarity Index (TCI) to analyze the integrity of Mongolia’s exports.
China is Mongolia's largest foreign trade and investment partner and neighboring country. From 1999 to 2019, China has been Mongolia's largest trading partner for 21 consecutive years. In 2019, it was 6753.3 million U.S. dollars, an average annual growth rate of 24.91%. As part of this research, I first examined the scope and structure of Sino-Mongolian trade and found that despite the steady growth of trade between the two countries, the economic and trade cooperation is relatively low and the types of traded products are small. Second, the 2007-2019 Mongolia-China Trade Data Index uses trade integration index, explicit comparative advantage and data to measure the competitiveness of the export products of the two countries and the trade-offs between the two countries by source and product category. This index measures the competitiveness of the export products of the two countries and the trade offset between the two countries, and identifies the sectors that have offsets between the two countries. However, the trade structure of the two countries is unbalanced and the trade volume is low.
